This Privacy Notice (“Privacy Notice”) explains how Parkva, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Parkva,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information you provide to us via (1) the Parkva website located at www.parkva.com, including all sub-domains where this Privacy Notice is posted (the “Site”), and (2) Parkva’s products and services, including Parkva Patrol, Parkva Watch, Parkva Sentinel, and related software and integrations (collectively, the “Services”).
By using or accessing the Site or Services, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site and Services.
Disclosure
By logging into Parkva’s Site or Services, you acknowledge that you are accessing a restricted information system. All usage may be monitored, recorded, and subject to audit for security and performance. Unauthorized use is prohibited and subject to penalties.
Collection of Personal Information
Personal Information means data that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you. We may collect:
- Identifiers: Name, email address, phone number, mailing address, account credentials.
- Device & Network Data: IP address, browser/device type, cookie identifiers, crash logs, usage patterns.
- Service Data: License plate numbers, images, GPS coordinates, device metadata, and analytics related to parking enforcement and property safety.
- Payment & Financial Data: Billing address, transaction details, last four digits of payment cards (processed securely via third parties such as Stripe).
- Support & Communication Data: Surveys, demo requests, inquiries, and other correspondence.
Use of Personal Information
We use Personal Information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our Services.
- Authenticate accounts and manage access.
- Process payments and fulfill transactions.
- Send operational alerts, including SMS and email notifications.
- Support property managers, security providers, and customers in parking enforcement and safety.
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud or misuse.
- Conduct research and improve our technology (e.g., license plate recognition accuracy).
- Fulfill contractual and legal obligations.
No Sale or Sharing for Marketing: Parkva does not sell, rent, or share personal information (including phone numbers) with third parties or affiliates for marketing or lead generation purposes.
SMS Communications
- We may use your phone number to send service-related SMS messages (alerts, account updates, support notifications).
- Marketing SMS will only be sent with your express opt-in.
- Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply.
- You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help.
- We will not sell or share mobile numbers with third parties or affiliates for marketing or lead generation.
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties
Distinction Between Customer Data and Personal Information
Parkva hardware and software may capture license plate images and related metadata in public spaces. While privacy laws grant rights to Personal Information, images of license plates or vehicles captured in public are generally not considered identifiable to a natural person without additional context. Customers control and own their Customer Data. Parkva processes Customer Data only to provide the Services under contract.
Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary to provide Services, comply with legal obligations, or support investigations. Customer Data retention is governed by contractual settings with our customers.
Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies, beacons, and similar technologies to:
- Authenticate users.
- Improve performance.
- Personalize content.
- Provide analytics.
You may adjust browser settings to refuse cookies; however, some Services may not function properly.
How We Share Information
We may disclose information:
- With Service Providers: Hosting, analytics, support, payment processing.
- With Affiliates: Subsidiaries and entities under common ownership.
- With Business Customers: Data collected at a property may be accessible to the property manager, HOA, or contracted security provider.

Parkva is committed to handling Personal Information in a manner consistent with applicable international standards, including the principles underlying the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and similar transfer mechanisms. If Parkva seeks and obtains formal certification under the DPF or other recognized frameworks, it will be publicly listed by the U.S. Department of Commerce and we will update this Privacy Notice accordingly.
Where we transfer Personal Information internationally, we take appropriate measures to ensure that your information is protected in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including through the use of contractual safeguards or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us to request deletion.
Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (encryption, access controls, monitoring). However, no system is 100% secure. By using our Services, you acknowledge these risks.
